Fear can cause us to shift our gaze from God to idolizing things that lead to destruction.

We have to remember to put God in his rightful place and everything else will be taken care of!

1 John 2:15-17 -  Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Mathew 6:33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Proverbs 29:25 - The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.

God is almighty and powerful!

Sometimes, in our minds, we can reduce the almightiness and greatness of God and increase the greatness of our problems, needs, and circumstances.

We have to remember to take time to thank God, exalt Him, and magnify Him!

When we shift from complaining to thanking and worshipping God, things change!

Psalm 69:30 - I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Ephesians 3:20 - Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us

1 Thessalonians 5:18 -  in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue!

We can use our words to build ourselves up or tear ourselves down. When we choose to align with God’s word over our lives, we will see the fruit of that.

Even in the midst of confusion and chaos we can choose to declare what God says about us and remind ourselves of all that God has already given us!

Let’s continue to speak God’s word over ourselves!

The Bible calls us to be imitators of God and live as children of light!

The way we love others, the way we forgive and the way we treat others should be a reflection of Jesus.

Let’s strive to continually obey God’s word!

Take time today to worship God!

No matter where you are, you can acknowledge God and glorify Him! We have to learn to practice the presence of God.

God’s presence changes everything, so we have to make ourselves available to Him!

Psalm 100:1-4 - Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all the earth! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. 3 Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Psalm 150:6 - Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!

Matthew 6:33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

John 4:23-24 - But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spiritand truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
